The Real Ideal: using short stories, inspirational poetry and creative questions to help you get inspired about your job and about your life!

"I just finished your book and felt your passion blazing through. My review of your book is glowing and positive, because I am in sync with your thoughts and your motivation, your ideas and that force that made you put them into writing. And photography. And art. I have zero criticism, only compliments." <read more testimonials>

The Real Ideal uses inspirational poetry and encourages you to start a personal journal. It asks you to be honest with yourself. Each chapter begins with a short story followed by motivational and understandable poetry. At the end of each chapter, there is a series of questions designed to help you come to terms with some issues relating to your work habits, your creativity and your sense of self.

How many times have your said, "The job I am working in is only a stepping stone" or "I've got too many bills to pay, so how can I ever leave?" In this world, doing the work you enjoy may make the difference between having a two-hour commute to being five minutes from the office of your dreams. Do you merely live to work? I hope not! The Real Ideal can show you another way.

The goal of the The Real Ideal is not to tell you how to be more successful; rather, it asks you to search inside of yourself to discover your own truth. The Latin word for education is educare, which literally means to 'draw out.' May you draw out your own truth while reading this book. It could change your life!
