Leading with Focus ValuesWhy I do the work that I do. It's that simple. The values of Mark Sincevich and his organization, Leading with Focus. 1. Commitment to Uniqueness - each person and each organization has unique gifts and experiences. This uniqueness gets you remembered and differentiates you from your competition. We have a genuine desire to draw out this uniqueness. 2. Quality is in the Little Things - the little things make life a lot more meaningful. From the handwritten note card to the phone call on a special day, the little things go a long way to build lasting relationships. 3. Sense of Urgency - this is beyond getting more done. It's doing the right things each day to deliver on a great speaking program or a client deliverable. It also means getting the work done in a timely manner and keeping the client informed. 4. Spirit of Creativity - whether it is with the camera, journal or being exposed to a unique experience, creativity is at the core of what we do. Practicing creativity generates new ideas and even helps to understand our clients better. 5. Foster More Awareness - technology allows us to do more, but often at the expense of not knowing what is going on around us. We strive to cut through the technology and enjoy helping people and organizations to notice what is going on around them in a simple yet powerful way. It's the difference between having a face-to-face conversation over sending an E-mail. 6. Practice Life Balance - the Ancient Greeks discovered the most beautiful works of art are those that can be divided into thirds. This is a good metaphor for life balance, paying attention to the physical, mental/social and spiritual aspects of life. We help to remind our clients of the importance of life balance. It is not a destination, but a continual process of paying attention along the way. 7. Say it with Your Heart - asking, 'what does your heart say' about a topic of discussion or a speaking program or seminar changes the dynamic into one of positive action. Saying it with your heart means we take the client's point of view into consideration in everything that we do. 8. Turn Work into Play - we strive to get to know our customers better and to have fun in the process. Using appropriate humor brings to mind Mark Twain's comment, "Against an onslaught of humor nothing can stand." Plus a few good laughs are great for the immune system. The more we can help our clients to have fun, the more we become easier to work with too. 9. Create a Sense of Adventure - remember the feeling of exhilaration you get starting out on a new adventure? It's the limitless possibilities that are exciting. We capture this spirit in our programs to help our clients make their own experiences much more interesting. And perhaps by embarking on a new adventure, you might get to know yourself and your organization for the first time.
